We are a research center dedicated to combating the ideology of extremists that is based on the misuse of religion.
At Sawab Center, we believe in tackling extremism through a multi-faceted approach, by studying the underlying drivers and developing research-based strategies to counter it. We are convinced that the prerequisite for countering extremism is understanding the narrative that fuels it. By deconstructing this narrative, we aim to curtail the spread of such ideas in society. We also seek to disrupt the recruitment and radicalization process by undermining the appeal of extremist ideology.
